The Supreme Court wants to hear more from both sides before the judges make a decision about Trump’s financial records. Congress wants to get its hands on Trump’s financials for several reasons. Mr. Trump cooked his financial records, according to Trump’s former lawyer and henchman Michael Cohen. Trump inflated his assets when he needed a loan, and he undervalued those assets when it was time to pay his taxes.
China won’t sign a phase one deal now that Trump won’t drop some of the tariffs. China wants Trump to reduce tariffs on $360 billion worth of Chinese merchandise and take the December tariffs off the table. But Jennifer Williams, a Pence aide who understands what’s going on in Ukraine and Russia, told Congress Trump’s Zelensky call was unusual and way out of line. Williams listened to the July 25th Trump-Zelensky conversation. Other people who listened to the call said the same thing. But Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, and Bill Barr claim the Trumpster was right to ask Zelensky to screw Joe Biden.
